Hotel
to Rehrmann’s for Thursday Beverages Out
of hotel, go North….water on the right. Go up to Guard,
wooden bridge, STOP sign, left, left, right.
Orlando to Daytona Beach
If lost, call 386-676-2250 or 1-888-676-2250
Two ways to get there...It
doesn't matter which way you go, they are both 74 miles to my house. I use
choice 1. It should take you about 1+20 minutes, me.....1+10
1. Toll Road, $3.00, better road and less crowded. definitely the
way to go if near rush hour. Off airport property, in your new shiny rental
look for SR 528 EAST, it comes up while on airport property. If you pay a
toll on 528 you've gone to far !!!! Follow 528 to SR 417, it also comes
up fast, about 2 miles down the road. Bear left and follow sign to
ORLANDO. {not Tampa}. You'll stay on this till you see signs for
I-4, ya can't miss it cause 417 ends. It flows you onto I-4. This will
be the long part of your journey. Stay on I-4 till you see signs for
Jacksonville/Daytona, I-95. Follow the signs to I-95 Jacksonville.....do
not get off early although it sez Daytona, you'll be in South Daytona. DO
get on I-95 North. If you are staying at a hotel in Daytona {i.e., The
Plaza Resort & Spa} bear right as you get onto I-95, and get off at
the next exit SR 92 or Intn'l Speedway Blv'd {ISB}. Bear right again and go
east towards the ocean. If you don't pass Daytona Intn'l Speedway
on your right in one mile, you are lost. Stay on ISB till you cross
the Halifax River {5 miles or so} continue to A1A. Turn left onto
A1A {if you go any further you'll be in the ocean, so turn} The Plaza
Resort & Spa will be on your right. Ormond Beach is 5 miles ahead and
it'd a nice drive along the Beachfront hotels anyway.
2. I-4 all the way to I-95. Off airport property follow signs to
SR 436, also Semeron Blvd. North. In 7 miles, you'll see an
overpass, bear right, go under overpass on to SR 528 WEST......this
differs from the directions above. If you screw up and go East, just pickup
the direction above from SR 528, admit to no one that you screwed up and tell
them, you wanted to do that. Once on 528, pay the toll and look for Rosalin
Ave, it's about 3 miles. Get off at Rosalin. You can only turn one way at the
light, don't screw it up. You'll go thru a few more lights till you
see I-4 Daytona Beach, take it. This will be the long part of the
journey. Stay on I-4 till you see signs for Jacksonville/Daytona, I-95.
